Parked Domains
Discover what parked domains are, why they're so practical and how to park a domain name.
There are 2 services you need for a working website - a domain and a web hosting plan for it. If you type the domain address in your Internet browser, you see the content that’s uploaded within the website hosting account, but if that domain isn't linked to such an account or to an e-mail service, it is parked. To put it differently, the Internet domain is registered and you are its owner, but it doesn't have any content of its own. Rather, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” Internet page from the registrar company, or it may be directed to any other URL of your choice. The main benefit of parking a domain address is that you can keep it and be sure that no one else is going to take it. Meanwhile, it will not occupy a slot for a hosted Internet domain inside your account. You could also park domains if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domain addresses with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main site as a way to protect a brand name.

You'll be able to park as many domain names as you wish with any of the
shared web hosting plans that we offer. However, this feature is provided only for domains registered here because the service is always provided only by the registrar. In contrast to the majority of service providers, we don't charge anything more for parking a domain and the process will take just a couple of mouse clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. We have a few parking templates to choose from where you can add custom text. If you choose to host a parked domain in the future, adding it to your account will take just a click. Everything necessary for your website to start showing up, including creating a domain folder and setting up DNS records is going to be done automatically by us. Our feature-rich Domain Manager tool will enable you to view a full list of the domains that you've registered through our company and you can set a filter to see only the parked or only the hosted ones.

We provide a number of parking templates to select from plus the option to submit your own text to any of them. If you prefer to forward your domain address, it takes as little as a few mouse clicks to do it. We have a feature-rich Domain Manager tool that you can access through your Hepsia hosting CP and it'll permit you to park and un-park domains effortlessly or filter all registered domains by their status and see only the parked or only the hosted ones. Un-parking a domain takes simply a mouse click and you will not have to do anything manually after that, because our system will automatically set up all the required records, modify the domain servers and set up a domain folder in the File Manager section.
